So trading is hard. If he wants something that is easy, flipping burgers would be a good option. I get shaken out of good trades a couple of times every week, but I'm getting better at timing, and just as often I ride it out to a profit.

i dont trade stocks, FX more my thing.

When any trader enters on the basisis of a  long red candle your in for a good chance for a  fast 'rip up' on ya.  more like 50/50 odds ore worse. I would be more likly to set a traps on the highs.....of the past and try and trap it with a tight stop. if you get filled your in for a ride....if you dont just set another trap.

Emotional dudes, that not good.

Obviously, my attempt at humor has gone over like a turd in the holiday punch bowl.

Nooooo... I have not seen that one.  I'll be sure to check it out.  Thanks.  At least I know someone here has my sense of humor.  How has your trading week been?

Good to hear.  I would also call Wed a good day for me until about an hour ago when my GJ BUY turned against me.  By the time you read this.... I could be stopped out at BE after being in 140 points in profit earlier in the week.

Most folks don't survive longer than their MT4 version, so I would call that a good thing.

we know how ya feel Josh, sometimes it seems unbelievable that no matter what, it's the wrong move and just 50/50 would be an improvement - thanks for capturing the irony which pervades day traders

Thanks Bob. More times than not so much emphasis is placed on winning trades by forums, educators and 'guru's' that new traders are not taught how to loose. And lets face it, with trading is just as important if not more so, that learning how to loose can be the name of the game.
