Comment by Peter jcp on December 21, 2012 at 4:36pm: Agree Cristo - - listening to them on UK tv now - yes i know there are other things that need curbing like violent films etc etc - but guns should be outlawed in a way that cigarettes are discouraged. Taking them out the equation would help - the more guns about the more chance the wrong people will have them.
Otherwise the USA will just become a democratic civilised war zone - and every argument will be settled with a gun - what a backward way and shows how antiquated these guys are !!!

Get them out the equation totally. They are just for war zones - and the only good points of a gun is that they can kill and maim. What other things are the good for ??

The NRA are really living in the past - all they are bothered about is selling guns and the gun industry - a bit like the cigarette manufacturers backing the freedom to smoke,

Last year in the UK - only 40 people died from gun related inicident, USA as a population of 5 times more - yet instead of a few hundred or even a thousand dying in America - it was between 15 and 30 thousand - killed with gun fire. DISGUSTING - and shows how out touch America is with the modern world.

PS if there is another war you will be nuked or gassed - forget guns - they are just modern day bow and arrows - Wake Up the people of the USA - Please wake up

American was founded on individual liberty as a God given right.

The children & teachers in Connecticut deserved the right of self protection.

You can gin-up hatred for the NRA all you want, but it doesn't change reality.

You don't have to be a member of the NRA to know What the 2nd Amendment stands for :
