Hi Setxi - well- i have been using GFT dealbook 360 platform for over 4 yrs and have been satisfied up to around limits of 10 lots on scalps lasting 2 minutes to an hour. With larger stakes there are problems in entries - anything from 30 seconds to a minutes - which is of course is too long a delay for a scalper.

I have therefore been looking at ECN brokers and in the UK - IG index have a good reputation and there platform looks good. So far though i have not be able to get the same "deal" as i have with GFT. There are also several new ECN brokers advertising as ideal for intraday traders - but so far not followed then up - Keith Shaw would have some info on those ones.

With technology changes in this last 18 months - I know i need to re look again - as so far in my trading life i have only used 4 brokers over 8 yrs. Unfortunately have no experience with other broker platforms - regards Peter

That's what I'm searching, good balance between execution speed and costs
