8 pm est.

Very nice hour change. watching for follow through and or failures at these levels. Eyeing 830 then 9pm for direction till London hopefully.Although I do not mind trading both ways.

I have taken short again with stops just above ej  11824 sl11838  gj 14055 sl 14068 risky, treating as scalps until 830 pm est and 900 pm est moves confirm direction.

Ultimately I would like to buy from much lower. Of course it is not up to me. And timing is everything. Could be usual both ways market till the maddogs and englishman come back. Personally do not mind grabbing 10-40 pips as was typical Asia overnight slow session before November  Have been spoiled as of late.

Anyway until ej clears my green line at 118.69, and closer at 11834, my view is down.

That said trading back and forth between significant support and resistance has been nice.

Stay nimble

Hope you are well.

Hey Elric , Hope you are doing well Hour change, 14026 level, If we do not bounce up from here? I will be watching the levels on these charts for continue or reverse. I Like long gj eventually but from where? seems to be holding this level pretty well atm. Was a nice bounce at the 140 level. What level did you think to buy?

sorry jim, was busy at work. not sure what you mean by 8min weekly for GJ. so whats your trade plan for both EJ and GJ

Comment by Jim Mathis on January 23, 2013 at 3:56am

Cheers Elric, weekly view on gj using 8 min time frame. I was looking for a dip down into London session or slightly before from which to look for a continued sell or a buy , that was my thought. Atm Other than pre tokyo and tokyo moves EJ has stood above 118.00, and GJ has held that 140 26 zone for a couple hours now. I am waiting now for a break of this current range.

As far as levels go I was originally thinking a new low for EJ somewhere near to 117.20 117 before london then a buy into london  then another sell and eventually trading down to 11650 but this lack of follow through has reminded me to trade what I see until the market proves otherwise.  I still hold the shorts that I started this thread with, but have my stops at BE.
