16 Years Old Jessie Making The Difference For a Better World... Your Support Is Needed
Hi everyone
Allow me to explain an story:
Jessie is a 16 years old from California that one day decided she wanted to raise $5,000 to build preschools in South Africa and provide school supplies to impoverished children in Kenya.
To accomplish such ambitious goal, she developed a web site called Bracelets That Benefit and she got involved classmates and friends to make nice bracelets using African colors that symbolize hope and change and sell them on the web at $5 the piece.
My partner Setxi and myself decided to buy some bracelets for our children and their classmates because we understood that Jessie is sending a very valuable message to our kids:
each and all of us can make the difference if we put our energy in it and that from small initiatives we can help change the world we are all in.

I have a daughter who is also 16 yrs old (going on 25). I can remember when I was that age and no way was I so mature and grown up as the kids of today. I applaud Jessie and all similar kids who can take initiative and want to make a difference to the World we live in. I am sure Jessie will reach her goal and also realise if you are fortunate how it is important to help others - who may not be so able. My daughter flew off to southern Spain with her 13 yr old brother Wednesday on their own for a 4 day break with friends. I just hope she does not try and hire a car and buy a villa whilst she is there now she thinks she is an international traveller - lol
