Comment by Peter jcp on January 25, 2013 at 4:58pm I forget whether you also do the Eur / Aud Lisa - and I know the sentiment on that was deliberately set up the wrong way along with all the fundamentals saying it should drop last week / this week.
Meanwhile it gone up 300+ pips. Similar the Cad still as not touched 1.0100 - only 98/9 on my chart - all deliberate ploys to sting traders - I think you need your 5 min or 15 min butterfly in ranges - but on days and weeks with rallies then the 1 hr and 4 hr butterfly will catch you good pips ;-))
Comment by Lisa on January 25, 2013 at 5:10pm yes ~ the EUR/AUD is one of my pairs.
In 4-hours it’s barely trading above the high today.
I have to be more patient with the trends.
It’s definitely not an instant gratification method.
*They* do say though, that good things come to those who wait …
and I have to go shopping ! (✿◠‿◠)
Comment by Peter jcp on January 25, 2013 at 5:39pm See you later Lisa - EU as really just gone flat and resting. Price as not been able to drop below 3450 and we have posted a LH at 3465/6 and its just a case to see whether we try above it again.
The fact that the EU as not dropped a clear 40 -70 pips on its run up shows its still bullish and trying to fight off its OB position so it can carry on up higher.
Finishing now trading and meanwhile above 66 and 80 scalp buy for higher and below 3450 and 3430 scalp sell for a further pull back
Have a great weekend and I hope you all caught some good pips - whether 30 or 300+ pip - they all count ;-))
Regards
Peter
