So this was my first year on FXStreet and by now I know this is THE most important site on the net for retail trader. I want to especially dedicate my time here to what I found to me most valuable members:
Peter, you are most firendly to me and best scalper I ever met, guy who trade "dirt"(that I call low TF full of noise) and still have best RR value out there, best SL-TP ratio and overal best skill for such kind of trades. Your system will survive even when others become obsolete for todays manipulation and scam. No need to comment here, you are probably one of best - if not the best guy that trade based on standard indicators.
Sir Gissa, la creme de la creme, my illuminati BROTHER and the leader of the wolf pack. Guy who dont need candles just lines, no indicators and no crap. Yout articles are best here because also of their poemic and intrinsic values - an absolute top.
Chris Capre, *The Standard* of forex trading and teaching, standard S/R, medium size TF but more than that - recognition of central banks actions on the chart, ichimoku expert and much more. There is a reason why I voted for your blog nomination recently, bravo.
Dr. Sivaraman, who research and understand big players intentions across multiple pairs.
Asad Rizvi, great analysis and well written forecasts with fundamental support and good natural rationalization.
Haitham, standard technical analysis and standard indicators use, totally by the book ice-cold cool approach, simply professional.
Marius, ...ok I love this one. Adding to position(averaging down) style. He remind me of a cobra snake. He dont speak much, sitting quiet and strike on opportunity. And just like snake, keeping his head up proudly even as he get beaten and whipsawed. No SL but never risking much of equity. Real big fund manager, serpentarius Marius is one of the best here in that he prove the most important thing in trading is strong mind over everything else(even strategy), or how many times was he doubted by others before?
Brian Twomey, who bring us new look at trading, strategy and currencies under(over)valuation. Very important to be aware of this especially now when everything seem to be of less clear trend somehow. I cant wait for more of your teachings in the future dude.
Steven Patterson, for making me understand of liquidity runs.
Sam Seider, this is THE BEST AND MOST IMPORTANT member on FXStreet. It is the ONLY person that made me *truly* understand how market works and why it does what it does and *where*(together with Steven Patterson LR part), WAY beyond standard SR levels and other crap for masses. No surprise he got award this year again, big players must hate him to death for what he reveal.
Ok thats it, time to feed, again...
Happy Christmas and Happy New Year!

Comment by Peter jcp on December 22, 2012 at 9:56am Cheers Romano for the nice mention - I agree with you and Raj that this site is the best for serious Forex traders. During the last 18 months or so since I have been a member, I have also learned more about trading from the traders you also mentioned ( plus a few more) and I am sure we can all learn from each other - to improve whatever methods and results we are currently achieving.
A very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all the members here - and a special mention to Francesc and his team for bringing all together - have a fantastic 2013 ;-)
Best Regards
Peter

Comment by Peter jcp on December 23, 2012 at 11:49am Hi Romano - yes checked it out and approximately 20 months as a member here. I had a look back to when I started part time back in 2003 and I was involved with a Canadian company called FX Trainer - who had various chat rooms and mentors.
In those days I was learning from guys like Steve De Witt and Steve Matrix ( scammer? ) - I don't know whether they are still around but I now realise they were just touching the surface and traded on the premise - we need to win over 60% of the time and our winners must be at least twice as big in money terms as out losers (lol).
After 3 yrs with them I went full time with only contact with a few friends in the UK and not with any regular chat site. Time moved on and would contact other UK traders with skype etc - but most of these guys were longer term traders - so I needed a change and then got involved with chat rooms again and the robot scene ;-)
As you know trading can be a lonely game - plus the fact you can always learn more - so its important that you find good contacts and understand all their views and why they might be calling different to you.
Today - I know more about trading then say 5 yrs ago - but could still have some better days then - simply because I was "raw" and had not hit then my mental trading wall of over 20 lots and 7 losing trades in a row.
Nowadays - I have no intention of trying to get to 50 full lot trades and put myself under big pressures etc - simply because I am in my late 50's and should be slowing down rather than having heart palpitations - saying that still training for another triathlon in 2013 ;-)
Still enjoy forex trading daily and hope to be doing it for at least another 5 years+.
Regards
Peter
Comment by Romano on December 23, 2012 at 3:29pm Peter, I hope you will do it for another at least 50 years and be also here with us another 50 years, not 5+!!! ^_`
