Peter, Happy birthday to your daughter and many more. My concern with GBP/NZD is explaining the pair, its movements. Its a bond like GBP/CHF and moves higher in risk off markets. I wasn't aware of the spreads others paid. Resistance today was 1.9569. That pair will reach its destination.

That says NU will be just fine too. For NJ, its just warming up for its downside move. As EU gets closer to 28 again, I will reevaluate. That trade just got away, can't say much more. Bad entry, bad trade. I want to determine a possible profit target or minor loss.

I'm confident of the remainder trades though. Take care and have a great weekend too

Hi Brian and Peter.
Think I missed a lot of action here. Been working almost 16 -18 hours days for the past 2 Weeks so participating much on this forum. Saw plenty of action here so decided to drop a quick note.
First Peter, happy 18 th birthday to your daughter. I am happy for you.
Brian, I think you have very much proven what you set put up do. Congratulations and well done.
I must also commend your efforts and also integrity. You have carried yourself well in this process which I think is befitting of a person of such status and intelligence.
Thank you for your efforts and long may we see you around here.
Good weekend to you and Peter.

Hi Jason - yes agree with you here - Brian has devoted a large amount of time and effort assisting all the members who have been following his live twenty trade experiment- and its a credit to him

I am sure everybody following and who is involved with the trades will have learnt things - I certainly have although I know in trading it is a ongoing journey - just like life - experience comes with time and study.

Thank you both re my daughter's 18th - I just wish I was that age again - and knew what I know today ;-))

Have a great weekend

Peter

Hi Peter, Jason I've given nearly 24/7 in 3 weeks in time and devotion to all members. With hope I've helped many to understand and become better traders. The corollary is many taught me regarding the decency of many, levels of sophistication, hard working and devotion, skills and abilities. Its been an interesting ride and more of an interesting view inside Fx Street. Of course a bad apple always exits. My grandfather called it the story of the 3 eggs, 2 bad. it will be interesting to see the overall level of sophistication here when the 20 trades are complete.

Hi Peter and Brian.
Peter, you are absolutely right. Time really flies. I am 40 & it seems only a short time ago when I was 18. Yes, we need to treasure and spend time with children. I have 2 kids.myself so I can understand how you feel. But I guess we cannot be 18 and have the same knowledge when we are 40 . If not, the whole world will be all billionaires. Nature dictates such that as we grow wiser, out time in this world gets shorter.
Well over to you Brian. I think no one and doubt the efforts you have put in. I am sure many have benefited. Although I may not have understood your mathematical methods, I feel that the exercise has provided much insight into the markets. I am sure many here will agree with me.
Thank you once again for I sincerely appreciate your efforts.

EU Target this writing = 1.2787. NU target from Long 0.8100 = 0.8153, NU Target will be close. Must cross 0.8148 then 53 for + 53. NJ = Sell 65.83 Target 65.05 for + 78 =  Dead on Track

Comment by john richmond on November 19, 2012 at 10:56am

Brian what do you mean EU target 1.2787. your trade NU hit target.

Comment by Brian Twomey on November 19, 2012 at 11:25am

NU Long  0.8100, Hit Target 0.8153, + 53, 13 trades closed since Oct 25, all Targets hit,  1008 pips total.  NJ= Absolute confidence in 65.05 Target from sell 65.83.  EU Long 1.2850 = reevaluating for small loss, small profit or breakeven. In Line with my friend Sundaram comments, future trades will accompany downside and upside price points

Comment by Brian Twomey on November 19, 2012 at 11:50am

Hi John,  EU = I saw Saturday 1.2787 target. Reevaluating new target  to determine small loss, small profit or breakeven on long 1.2850 trade. Fear not, all is covered
