Hello Traders,

The goal of this forum is to help create an environment that facilitates the learning of how to trade forex and markets in general, along with bringing a social component to trading.

However by default - it is a forum, and in places where the main form of communication/connection is via internet, we tend to behave in slightly different ways than if we were meeting with that someone in person, talking with them, spending time with them, getting to know them, etc.

Although this is only natural to some extent, I think it means we have to be on guard (towards ourselves) as to how we may be insensitive to others, how we may be guilty of being unkind, passive-aggressive, judgmental, or inconsiderate of others.  I think it also means we have to be willing to point the finger at ourselves more often than we likely are.

Am I guilty of this and doing some inconsiderate or unconscious things?  Certainly - I am not perfect and make mistakes (tons) on a daily basis.  Actually, that is part of the reason why I live alone ;-).  Honestly, I'm surprised my cats and girlfriend tolerate me :-ooo

But, I wanted to share something called 'A Letter To The World' by Kate Swoboda which I think we can all learn from, and all hopefully develop more harmonious relationships with, both here and in life.

It reminds us to question our views of others we hold to be solid, and also to be willing to look more at ourselves than talking about others faults.

I hope we can all learn from this.

Kind Regards,
Chris

Hello Lisa,

Yes, I think it speaks to the point about communication being simple, direct and building that relationship.

But thank you for sharing.

Kind Regards,
Chris

@Rob - thanks mate - much appreciated.

@Colin,

I like this saying, 'when pointing one finger there is always three pointing back...'
Very clever and quite true.

Kind Regards,
Chris
