FOREX VIDEO - London Session Review - January 10, 2012

While we have all be shorting the Eur/Usd for weeks, this week we expected a return to some Fibonacci pullback zones to begin, the first of which being back to the Daily 5ema (also 38.2 fib pullback of the last 4hour swing). In this video I layout what we were waiting for just after the London market open as our first clue to take the scalp long, along with how we determined target, stop/risk, and ultimately what caused the trigger to be pulled. This was only intended to be a scalp long with…

FOREX VIDEO - London Session Review - November 18, 2011

After ranging for what seemed an eternity this week on the extremely weak Eur/Usd, Aud/Usd and others, we finally started showing some signs today, beginning in Asia of a breakout pullback of the overall drop about to ensue. In this video I show 100% how we set-up, and executed this live trade in the London session real-time, for a relatively painless 50+ pips depending on entry.  We also had an even better reload after this entry I on the eur/usd & aud/usd that once I was done this…

FOREX VIDEO - London Session Review - October 31, 2011

Asia was able to pull most pairings back off their recent support/resistance levels quite substantially, along with escalating the Yens after Japan intervened with their currency.  This put London in a tough spot, what do do from here.  In this video I explain how we built a trade plan to short the Eur/Usd in an attempt to continue the Asian momentum, along with the overall plan for the next few intraday swings on this pairing.  This is by no means the only trade that was available, the yens…

FOREX VIDEO - London Session Review - October 18, 2011

After a very strong USD day yesterday, we found ourselves pretty much in position as the European open began for a continuation attempt as Asia had faded us back up near resistance.  Sometimes, however, an area we plan as a resistance/entry zone is cut short only to try and leave the gate early along with empty handed traders needing a tissue. In this video I display in detail the clues that I personally saw to cause me to take an entry roughly 20 pips prior to the zone I had originally…

FOREX VIDEO - London Session Review - October 3, 2011

After spending a fantastic week of trending last week, we open today at very extended lows yet still within this downtrend on many pairs. So even though the long term charts are suggesting a pullback before major new lows is likely, there is still no reason to not try and continue the trend at every technical opportunity that makes sense.  In this video I focus on the very first of these chances on the AUD/USD pair that occurred during the London session (other pairs such as EUR/USD offered…

FOREX VIDEO - London Session Review - August 25, 2011

Sometimes direction of a currency pair is obvious, other times, it is an absolute mess of a range that is tightening more and more, which the Eur/Usd was in today's London session.  Days like this, buying or selling and holding is virtually impossible, yet being nimble, adapting to the market, and putting your scalp hat on can pay off if your smart about it. In this video I go over several intentional scalps that we planned and executed in both pre-London and the London session using…

FOREX VIDEO - London Session Review - August 23, 2011

The Eur/Usd has been kicking out lower high's and higher lows left and right lately, and the bull bear zones getting closer and closer together, clueing us into an eventual breakout move.  In this video I show why we took a long on the Eur/Usd today with a rather small stop loss playing off a very identifiable 4hour higher low shooting for a minimum of roughly 50 pips, to an undefined maximum if we broke the 14520 zone.  After surviving by 3-4 pips what first seemed to be a lower high after…

FOREX VIDEO - London Session Review - August 17, 2011

Very volatile London FX session today, mostly revolving around the Swiss Franc right at the open, and the whole peg or no peg situation.  We did manage to catch a couple scalps totaling 150 pips or so from eur/chf and gbp/chf combo, yet you had to really be quick and willing to take larger risk on to try it.  In this video though I go over a far slower, much more conservative long on the aud/usd after technical clues of a short term change of trend.  Using mostly Fibonacci retracement levels…

FOREX VIDEO - London Session Review - August 12, 2011

So much fundamental news coming out regarding the hugely oversold Swiss Franc pairs lately has allowed an incredibly strong rally, or rather Swiss Franc sell off to take place.  While there have been a plethora of short term entries long on these pairs each kicking out 70-100 pip swings, there was also a nice opportunity for a high quality Counter-trend scalp this morning at the end of our London session.  In this video I highlight in detail why I was looking for a counter to begin with,…

FOREX VIDEO - London Session Review - August 11, 2011

After a fantastic New York trading session yesterday, the time between that and today's London open was mainly spent grinding back to test role reversal/Fibonacci pullback zones across the board. In class today we covered eur/usd, gbp/usd, aud/usd, and nzd/usd on pretty much identical setups, all of which ultimately produced pips.  However, even though we nailed every plan on these pairs, it became increasingly difficult to leave well enough alone throughout the entire London session, and…

FOREX VIDEO - London Session Review - August 4, 2011

Today was simply an amazing trading day from Asia onward, what with Intervention from Japan, multiple rate announcements, NFP tomorrow, the tension in the air was ripe.  The coolest thing though is even with the very sweet moves we had today, everything was moving in a very technical fashion that allowed us to plan and execute trade after trade, creating the biggest trading day in a while for many bootcampers in the room.  In this video I detail how we attacked the EUR/USD from the London…

FOREX VIDEO - London Session Review - June 17, 2011

Today as London openend we found ourselves at the end of a long bearish week for the Eur/Usd. While we may be in the midst of a new larger H&S pattern as I show in this video to the downside, here we are opening the end of the week bottoming at a weekly S2 Reversal Pivot Point. In this video I show how both the bears and bulls had drawn their lines, and how we predicted a likely hike to the 1.4250-70 area at least, with a larger target of the low 1.43's for a head and shoulder neckline… Continue
