The EurUsd Currency Pair : Why trade anything else?

After last night's run up for eurusd to 1.2341 from a daily low of 1.2153, it does suggest that quite possibly 1.2500/1.2600 could be right around the corner; however, eurusd would have to stay above 1.2177, imo a break below 1.2177 would take away any hope for the bulls and their long positions.

Missing in Action

My blog posts and comments in the FXAnalytics Group could be a little sparse for the next few weeks. In kind of a freak accident I broke my right had and two of my knuckles. Euro and GBP lost all the gains made yesterday now and swing near Friday close levels.

Looking ahead to testing...

Over the course of the last year I've been doing a lot of testing on indicator optimization. Most of the updates and stricter testing on the trade model has been finished, but there are still a few odds and ends to be finished. A byproduct of the research and testing is the work that will be covered here, primarily Indicator Optimization. The attached PDF give s quick example of how it can be applied in a simple fashion.

How far is the EUR Bear trend going to last?

The Euro is very unstable right now. Its very choppy and if you are not catching the wave from the top then dont be suprised if you get whipsawed by its instability.

Its just fell 30 pips at the end of yesterdays session and shot up without warning a little bit after that. That really got me scared as i didnt have a stop in force when that happened. I wasnt expecting any upward movement at all...but who knows what the market is going to do .
