Yen Falls as Japan Posts Record Current Account Deficit

The Yen has weakened against it's major counterparts after the Japanese Ministry of Finance announced Thursday the deficit of Y437bn ($5.4bn), the largest monthly deficit since 1985.
The data threatens to undermine the Yen's safe haven status. It may also increase pressure on the Bank of Japan to continue easing monetary policy at its meeting next week.

Gold is trading lower for a fourth consecutive day amid concerns over the Eurozone Debit Crisis.
Looking at the daily chart we can see that it has slipped below the 'line in the sand' 200 period moving average on the daily chart:
