and Mendelbrot finds out, "A cloud is made of billows upon billows upon billows that looks like clouds. As he comes closer he doesn't get something smooth but irregularities at smaller scale..."
Cool music!

Really Cool Stuff--love it! Lisa had a question about the Strange Attractor, I guess your Lorenz Attractor Video answers her question. It's amazing that the Lorenz Attractor was found during the observation of weather related event--the Butterfly Effect; not as a mathematical discovery.
Beside the calculation in Non-Linear Dynamics inside the function of x, y and z for a 3D strange attractor, it is a quite simple concept. Starting with some original point on a plane and by calculating every next point using a formula and the coordinates of the current point.
x, y, z are the points on a Cartesian Plane and f(x,y,z), g(x,y,z) and h(x,y,z) are the functions where x, y and z are complex numbers.
We reiterate the functions and there we go, we have a 3D Strange Attractor that will behave with Fractal self-similarities.
