Former Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell has a message for the Republican and Democratic parties and their leaders this political season: Don't wuss out.
The two-term Democratic governor — and a former Democratic National Party chairman — is also the author of the book, "A Nation of Wusses: How America's Leaders Lost the Guts to Make us ...
According to Rendell, politicians change positions too often, refuse to admit mistakes or credit their rivals and won't say "no" their base. Underlying these and other signs of "wussiness," says Rendell, is a lack of backbone.

Hanging around Barack Osbama for six months, in the White House, aboard Air Force One, and on the basketball court, Michael Lewis learns the reality of the Nobel Peace Prize winner who sent Stark into combat.

Permalink Reply by Peter jcp on September 15, 2012 at 6:33pm Hi Lisa - hope you are enjoying your weekend - shooting any democrats and generally being an extreme Christian with very right wing views -)
I think you would be amazed to find out that a few years ago I was asked to stand for the local Conservative Party and then look at becoming an Member of Parliament - yes Conservative - right wing - ie your ideology etc etc. I declined as 15 years ago I was more into my business career and making money - than just getting involved in the "Poli-tricks" groups.
So please - I am no left wing Marxist - - but simply a guy who can see good and bad in all parties - hardly extreme.
You have mentioned the power of the Media and the Press - and I agree with you - but you seem to be taken in by all the "rubbish" you hear if can support your case.- ie the Press is brilliant if anti Obama etc etc.
The US Media are renown world wide for twisting the facts and "painting pictures" that might not necessary be totally true. Unfortunately, a large part of the US population have not traveled the World and mixed with other the other 200 plus countries around the World- whereas a high proportion of Pan Europeans have
The growing faith in the UK is atheism - simply because more and more educated folk are disillusioned with Religion - they have respect for all the different Gods - but its not for them
They are not anti-religious - but they don't really need any faith to belong to - they have moved on - they still might pray - and go to church for Weddings etc - but they are at peace with themselves
Britain culture will be our visitors and immigrants - have to adhere to our laws and ways - they will be challenged etc - but we are not all suddenly being taken over - as you seem to think lol
Please provide more of this entertainment for us - I am enjoying it ;-)))

"shooting any democrats and generally being an extreme Christian with very
right wing views"
hm ~ that sounds significantly media biased, more specifically a liberal media
bias ~ ha, ha
You’d be surprised to know that I don’t hold to any political party, per say.
I hold to "ideas" & politically the closer a candidate follows the Constitution the
better. I do believe in the 2 Amendment and the right for law abiding citizens to
bear arms & I don’t believe the founders added that Amendment so we could go
duck hunting, but so that we could defend and protect our persons, our
families and our fellow countrymen. I personally believe that if more law abiding
citizens did not abdicate their responsibility in this area there would be less
violent crime :
way-to-go, old fella !
It’s good to know a Conservative group invited you to speak before them which
demonstrates that are willing to listen to another point of view and also holds to
one of my beliefs that ~ I may not agree with everything you say, but I defend
your right to express it.
